E-Cash Receives Central Bank Approval to Expand E-Commerce Payments with Al-Ibdaa Microfinance Bank
Central Bank of Syria Decision No. 523 dated 16 August 2026 authorises E-Cash Electronic Payment LLC to provide E-Commerce payment services through customer bank accounts with Al-Ibdaa Microfinance Bank.

E-Cash is pleased to announce another important milestone in the expansion of its electronic payment infrastructure in Syria.
Under Central Bank of Syria Decision No. 523 dated 16 August 2026, approval has been granted for E-Cash Electronic Payment LLC to expand its activities with Al-Ibdaa Microfinance Bank to provide E-Commerce payment services through the E-Cash electronic payment gateway using customers' bank accounts.
This approval marks another step in E-Cash's strategy to connect Syrian banks, merchants and customers through modern electronic payment infrastructure.
Coming Soon
E-Cash is preparing the technical and operational requirements for the upcoming service with Al-Ibdaa Microfinance Bank. Once the integration becomes operational, eligible customers will be able to use their Al-Ibdaa bank accounts to make electronic purchases through participating merchants connected to the E-Cash Payment Gateway, subject to applicable banking, regulatory and technical requirements.
