E-Cash Receives Central Bank Approval for E-Commerce Payments with Bemo Microfinance Bank
Central Bank of Syria Decision No. 518 dated 16 August 2026 authorises E-Cash Electronic Payment LLC to provide E-Commerce payment services through customer bank accounts with Bemo Microfinance Bank.

E-Cash is pleased to announce an important milestone for electronic payments in Syria.
Under Central Bank of Syria Decision No. 518 dated 16 August 2026, E-Cash has received approval to provide E-Commerce electronic payment services through the E-Cash Payment Gateway using customers' bank accounts.
This upcoming service will be launched in cooperation with Bemo Microfinance Bank, creating a new digital payment experience connecting customers, merchants, E-Cash and the banking system.

E-Cash and Bemo Microfinance Bank are preparing for the launch of the service following the regulatory approval.
Once operational, eligible customers will be able to use their bank accounts to complete electronic purchases through merchants integrated with the E-Cash Payment Gateway, subject to the applicable banking, regulatory and technical requirements.
